RULES
PLEASE NOTE: THIS PROMOTION IS ONLY OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES
AND IS VOID WHEREVER PROHIBITED BY FEDERAL, STATE,
PROVINCIAL, MUNICIPAL OR LOCAL LAW.
ELIGIBILITY:
FREE ATOMIC CLOCK AVAILABLE ONLY TO FIRST 100 QUALIFYING PARTICIPANTS. PARTICIPANTS
MUST MEET WITH CHECKPOINT REPRESENTATIVE TO RECEIVE FREE CLOCK. QUANTITIES
LIMITED.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE.
The SPEEDOFFASHION.COM .ATOMIC CLOCK PROMOTION ("Promotion") is open to legal
resident of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia,
eighteen (18) years of age or older on July 1, 2003
or if the age of majority is greater than eighteen (18) years in the jurisdiction
where you live, you must be at least the age of majority on the date of entry.
PROMOTION IS SUBJECT TO ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS.
By entering participants agree to abide by the terms and conditions of these
Official Rules (the " SPEEDOFFASHION.COM/CHECKPOINT SYSTEMS, INC. ATOMIC CLOCK
PROMOTION OFFICIAL RULES "). The following persons are excluded from participation
in this Promotion: employees of Checkpoint Systems and immediate family members
of Checkpoint Systems employees and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers,
directors, assigns, advertising, promotional and fulfillment agents, attorneys,
accountants, and other representatives and the persons with whom each of the
above are domiciled.
HOW TO ENTER: Online Entry: To enter, access the official entry form located
at www.speedoffashion.com/register.aspx. You have the option to opt-in to
the receipt of valuable communications from our marketing department while
entering the Promotion. However, you need not do so to qualify. All entries
become the property of Checkpoint Systems, Inc. and will not be returned.
Limit one entry per person.
PROMOTION PERIOD: The Promotion begins 12:00:00 A.M. July 1, 2003 and will
end at a time chosen by Checkpoint Systems. Checkpoint Systems reserves the right to limit this promotion
to the first 100 qualified registrants completing a meeting with a Checkpoint
Systems sales representatives. SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO
TERMINATE OR SUSPEND THE PROMOTION WITHOUT NOTICE, AT ANY TIME AND FOR ANY
REASON. SPONSOR ALSO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ALTER OR AMEND THESE RULES.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Each entrant in the Promotion must be the rightful owner
of, or have authorized use of, the email account indicated by the entrant's
email address. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person
submitting an on-line entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the
person in whose name the email account is registered. No mechanically reproduced
entries or facsimiles will be accepted. Checkpoint Systems is not responsible
for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, technical failures of any
kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate,
incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by
the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized
in this Promotion or for any undelivered, deleted, lost, late, illegible,
misdirected, incomplete entries. Checkpoint Systems reserves the right to
disqualify any individual who is responsible for or who tampers with the entry
process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the on-line portion
of the Promotion in the event it becomes infected by computer virus or is
otherwise technically impaired. Entries become the property of Checkpoint
Systems and will not be returned.
PROMOTIONAL GIFT:
For Qualified Applicants Fulfilling the Obligations Set Forth Above:
- A Seiko™-brand Atomic Desk Clock ($50 retail value)
Only one gift will be awarded per email address, individual, family, or household.
Any federal, state or local taxes or duties due are the sole responsibility
of the winner. The promotional clock will be delivered by a Checkpoint Systems
sales representative as part of face-to-face meeting.
Once qualified gifts must be redeemed within thirty (30) days of notification.
If qualified individual does not redeem his or her gift within thirty (30) days
of notification, an alternate winner may be selected. Qualified registrants
will be contacted by email or phone to set up an appropriate meeting time.
Return of any qualification notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification
and selection of an alternate qualifier.
GENERAL: By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by
these SPEEDOFFASHION.COM/CHECKPOINT SYSTEMS, INC. ATOMIC CLOCK PROMOTION OFFICIAL
RULES, including all eligibility requirements. By entering, qualified entrants
agree: (1) to be bound by these official rules; (2) that the decisions of
Checkpoint Systems are final in all matters pertaining to the Promotion; and (3)
to release and hold harmless Checkpoint Systems, its subsidiaries, representatives,
sponsor, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and consultants from any
and all liability, injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from their
participation or their acceptance and use of any gift. Any dispute arising
from this Promotion will be determined in accordance with the laws of the
State of New Jersey.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Checkpoint Systems is not responsible for any incorrect
or inaccurate information, whether caused by Web site users or by any of the
equipment or programming associated with the Promotion or by any technical
or human error that may occur in the processing of entries in the Promotion.
Checkpoint Systems assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption,
deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line
failure, theft or destruction or authorized access to, or alteration of, entries.
Checkpoint Systems is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction
of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line-systems, servers or providers,
computer equipment, software, failure of email on account of technical problems
or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or combination thereof,
including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer
related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this
Promotion. If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as
planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized
intervention, fraud, technical failures, hacking, or any other causes beyond
the control of Checkpoint Systems which corrupt the administration, security,
fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Checkpoint Systems Promotion,
Checkpoint Systems reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate,
modify or suspend the Promotion. Checkpoint Systems is not responsible for
late, lost, illegible, incomplete, stolen, or misdirected entries. ANY ATTEMPT
BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE
OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CHECKPOINT SYSTEMS PROMOTION
IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE,
SPONSOR RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST
EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW (INCLUDING ALL ATTORNEYS FEES, COURT COSTS AND EXPENSES).
